Gift Boosts Learning Beyond the Classroom
A recent estate gift will support UMN Morris students to the MAX.
The generosity of a donor, who made a provision for an unrestricted gift to the University of Minnesota Morris in their estate plan, will benefit students through the Morris Academic eXperiences (MAX) fund. The MAX fund provides support for students to pursue educational opportunities outside the classroom. All UMN Morris students can apply to the MAX fund to enhance their academic career through internships, studying abroad, community-engaged learning, undergraduate research, and more.
Unrestricted gifts can be directed to new initiatives or innovations of a specific campus need. We are grateful to this donor for the opportunity to create additional meaningful support for UMN Morris students.
You, too, can ensure that UMN Morris students continue to benefit from additional educational experiences with a gift in your estate plan. Contact Susan Schmidgall, CDO, at 320-589-6160 or sschmidg@morris.umn.edu to learn more.
